Your fares
The full fare goes to your wallet. No 80% rent share and no commission. Withdraw to your bank any time.
You’ve shown us a steady month on a Route rental. Now keep 100% of your fares, repay the car daily, weekly or monthly over 18 months, and drive away with the title when it’s paid off.
Not renting yet? Start with a Route rental. Drive-to-Own opens after about a month.
Ownership starts with a rental. Your first month shows us how you drive, and it shows you whether the car fits your work.
Pay the rental deposit and collect an EV keke or car. Route takes 80% of each fare until the day’s rent is covered (₦55,000 car, ₦25,000 keke), then every fare is yours.
We watch your record: days on the road, trips, ratings, charging and how you look after the car.
Use the form below or the Route Driver app. Tell us which car you want to own and who your guarantor is.
We check your rental record and documents, then send the agreement to sign in the app: deposit, repayment schedule, amount and the rules for missed payments.
Your fares all go to your wallet. Payments come out daily (6 days a week), weekly or monthly, with your plan and charging included. The app shows paid, left and your payoff date.
When the balance reaches zero, Route starts the ownership transfer and the papers move into your name.
You own the vehicle in 18 months. Choose to pay daily (6 days a week), weekly or monthly. Every payment already covers your driver plan and charging.
Your plan and charging at Route stations are included in every payment, so there’s nothing else to buy to go online.
The full fare goes to your wallet. No 80% rent share and no commission. Withdraw to your bank any time.
Your driver plan and charging at Route or designated stations are part of each payment, under our fair-use policy.
When the balance reaches zero, Route transfers ownership and the papers move into your name.
Paid once, by bank transfer to the account we give you after you sign. Your deposit comes back when you finish paying, less anything unpaid. If you stop early, the balance is refunded after deductions.
There’s no test to sit. Your first month on a Route rental is the application. Drive the way you always do.
How many days you drove, and whether you went two days in a row without a trip.
How often you reached the rental’s daily target shown in your app.
Your average rating and the feedback riders leave after trips.
Charging only at Route or designated stations, which the car’s tracker confirms.
The car’s condition at check-ins, compared with the handover photos.
Trips cancelled after accepting, and any strikes on your account.
Four short steps. We review your rental record and message you on WhatsApp with the result.
No. Drive-to-Own is for drivers who have rented a Route EV for about a month. That month is how we get to know your driving, and how you get to know the car.
Each payment has two parts: an equal instalment toward owning the vehicle over 18 months, and your driver plan plus charging at Route or designated stations under our fair-use policy. Pay daily (6 days a week), weekly or monthly, whichever matches how you earn.
A refundable deposit and 24 months of insurance, paid once by bank transfer to the account we give you after you sign: ₦1,800,000 + ₦1,800,000 for an EV car, or ₦700,000 + ₦700,000 for an EV keke. The deposit is refunded when you finish paying, less anything unpaid. If the agreement ends early, the balance is refunded after deductions.
Drive-to-Own is a larger commitment than renting, so it needs two guarantors (a rental needs one). Each fills in the Route Guarantor’s Form. Together they guarantee your payments and the return of the vehicle: if you don’t pay after a written notice, Route can ask either of them to pay what you owe. They are told of any default at the same time as you, and released when you finish paying.
Your agreement spells out what counts as a missed payment and what happens next before you sign. If a car is ever retrieved, your deposit comes back to your wallet, less only damage recorded against the handover photos and any recovery cost, and you see an itemised statement first.
Route supplies the car’s papers, including insurance and the hackney permit. Maintenance and insurance responsibilities are listed in the agreement, and the app shows when the next service is due.
When your balance reaches zero, Route starts the ownership transfer and the vehicle papers move into your name.
